On November 10, 2025, a meeting of the Association of Private Higher Education Institutions took place at the Transport and Telecommunication Institute, during which a new board was elected.

Representatives of Riga Aeronautical Institute – Vice President M. Romele and Development Director I. Arandas – participated in the ICAO EUR/NAT regional seminar on aviation training and workforce planning.The seminar brought together representatives from training institutions and academia to discuss current issues in aviation workforce development, share best practices, and evaluate regional and national strategies aligned with the ICAO NGAP (Next Generation of Aviation Professionals) program.

Riga Aeronautical Institute has received an acknowledgment from the Higher Education Quality Agency for professional cooperation, making a significant contribution to the development of quality culture and promoting the principles and values of the European Higher Education Area.

On October 15, 2025, the Riga Aeronautical Institute hosted an open lecture within the study course “Philosophy and Sociology”, delivered by Mg. oec. Anna Tiļļa. The lecture, titled “Philosophy and Sociology in the Modern World,” encouraged lively discussions about the role of philosophy and sociology in contemporary society, their impact on human thinking, values, and social processes. Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences, ask questions, and engage in debates on current trends and developments.

On October 9, 2025, the representative of Riga Aeronautical Institute, Vice-Rector for Science Vladimirs Reikarts, participated in the international seminar “Xecs Matchmaking Event – Xecs Call 5” held in Riga as part of the EUREKA program. Xecs is an innovation cluster for electronic components and systems aimed at promoting international cooperation and technological advancement in this field.
