The Ambassador of Latvia to the United States, Elita Kuzma, together with economic counselor Anete Kārkliņa-Lurope , visited Pelican Flight School, where she met with representatives of the Riga Aeronautical Institute (RAI) and the flight school team. During the visit, the Ambassador became acquainted with the pilot training process, flight training infrastructure, and opportunities for international cooperation in aviation education. Discussions also covered opportunities for future pilots to pursue training programs from PPL to CPL and ATPL, as well as the possibility of gaining international flight training experience in the United States.During the visit, the Ambassador also had the opportunity to try a flight simulator ALSIM and learn more about the study opportunities at the Riga Aeronautical Institute, which combine academic knowledge with practical flight training. We express our sincere gratitude to Ambassador Elita Kuzma for the visit, her interest in the development of aviation education, and the valuable discussions on future cooperation opportunities.
